1967 400 Firebird Convertible RHD

Hello ! Here is my latest project...a 1967 400 Firebird Convertible that was sold new in Australia Right Hand Drive ! Poor old car has had a real hard life and in the last 20 odd years has had at least 3 owners before me. It is a pretty big task but I love a challenge ! Car is originally fairly well optioned: 400/TH400 , Posi rear , Dlx interior , Power top & windows , Rally Stripe , Ride & Handling , Rally dash & hood tach & clock , Tilt & power steering , Rally wheels , Power Disc Brakes , Is being painted back to the original White with black rally stripe with black top and interior.

Nice Flares...
	It must have been someones Street Machine back in the 70's/80's with these flares. They also removed the 400 and put a Small Block Chev in it at some stage.

Conversion
	This gives you and idea on what was done back in '67 to change it over. Some of this i will clean up and make safer , some will stay the same. If this was not done as a new car I would probably convert it back to LHD but it has history here from new with a paper trail...makes it unique.

On it's way to paint...
	Getting closer to the paint booth now. I was nervous at first as to how this would turn out but after stripping it down it turned out to be a fairly straightforward job. Due to the butchery on the rear quarter panels they both had to be replaced as was the trunk floor. I searched for months to find nice original fenders for it but it was worth the wait.

	Love that 400 hood.Painting it back to white with a black rally stripe down the side...a little boring perhaps but I thought it better to go back to original...I hope anyway.

Painted !
	Here we go....back to the original white. Now the fun begins ! Just got word the engine is ready so now it's time to get the TH200R4 ready for it.
